The Programs Committee of the Houston Chapter of IFMA is responsible for hosting a variety of programs throughout the year to provide maximum educational and networking opportunities to its members. Monthly Chapter meetings and facility tours are some of opportunities provided, and those in the mood for socializing will enjoy periodic gatherings after work, designed to promote networking in a comfortable atmosphere.
We are committed to provide outstanding programs and expert speakers to address the most relevant topics facing facility management professionals today. The goal of the committee is to provide resources, ideas, and information. We strive to help educate our membership with new and innovative views regarding the workplace environment, best practices, and real estate trends in Houston. We coordinate monthly luncheon meetings that occur on the second Thursday of each month in a central location. In addition, facility tours of new building sites or renovations promote the most current architectural designs and trends. The Programs Committee will work in conjunction with the Education Committee to ensure this coverage is consistent with the concern of today's Facility Manager.
